DESCRIPTION: Jacques Roulet, Locle, Switzerland, 15 jewels, key wind and set, damascened, nickel bar movement with lever escapement in an 18 karat, yellow gold, reeded edge, engine turned and engraved, hunting case and Roman numeral, single sunk, white enamel dial, fancy plum colored steel hands, serial #20278, 43mm, 51g TW, c1870.
CONDITION: CASE: Minor dents and dimples; Dents and marring on inner surface of case back from winding and setting square; Fine scratches on cuvette; Front cover lift spring weak; Precious metal content marked. DIAL: Scratch at 2:00, otherwise very good. HANDS: Minor specks of oxide. MOVEMENT PLATES: Minor scratches on plate; Scattered spotting; Barrel teeth with plating loss; Specks of dirt / dust. MOVEMENT FUNCTION: Running order (winds, sets and ticks).
